Biking in the New Territories

Here is your chance to explore the beauty of the New Territories while biking through scenic landscapes.  We will rent bikes at one of the many bike rental shops in Tai Wai (basket included but not helmet - you can rent one for 20 hkd) . From there we cross bridges, ride through parks, pass the HK Heritage Museum, check out a HK Temple, view the Tsz Shan Monastery and end up in the Tai Mei Tuk Village.  There we can return our bikes and have lunch at shared costs at one of the Restaurants in the village.  You may even want to stop at Mayse's Bakery and pick up some delicious fresh baked bread .  The ride will be about 9 miles or 15 km.  It will last about 1 1/2  - 2 hours depending on the group and how many photo stops.   After lunch we will take the minibus back to Tai Po Market MTR.  

Transportation and food are at your own expense.  More details will be provided closer to the date.
