Healthy Miso Magic: Beyond Miso Soup Cooking Class
Join us for a seminar, tasting and cooking class and learn all things miso! Mayu is a Cordon Blue trained chef and she will explain the differences of the various kinds of miso and their uses. After we will learn how to prepare a few delicious dishes and have lunch to savour them. A sample class and menu:
- Introduction of Kyoto, Nagoya and Sinshu style miso (white, yellow and dark)
- Miso tasting
- Fish or chicken marinated in yuzu citrus miso
- Almond miso dengaku
- Napa cabbage with sesame miso dressing
Participants are welcome to bring drinks to have with lunch.
