Explore and Long Lunch in Macau
Explore Macau followed by a long lunch at famed restaurant Fernandoes for a sampling of Portuguese food and end the day with a chance to shop for local finds. We will take the 8:30 ferry to Macau (YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE YOUR TICKET ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE AND HAVE ALL DOCUMENTATION ALLOWING YOU INTO CHINA BASED ON YOUR CIRCUMSTANCE.)
Once through immigration a minibus will meet us to take us to the old city. A short walk up will take us to the Ruins of Saint Paul with a wander down through the historic old part of the city. We will then board the bus to Fernandoes a Portuguese favourite for locals and tourists alike. Lunch will be at shared expense. Expect lunch to cost around $350 (without wine bring extra for the great sangrias). (While we will be sure to order vegetarian dishes, please note the restaurant is heavy with meat items on the menu.)
After our long leisurely lunch will board the bus again with a stop in the Taipa District for more exploring and shopping. We will head back to the ferry (via our minibus) at 5:30 for our return trip to Hong Kong.
