A WAlk about: Sha Tau Kok with Walk In Hong Kong
Step into the streets of Sha Tau Kok to discover the heyday of the "frontier's closed area".
A neighborhood that blends traditional Chinese culture with the old days of colonial Hong Kong and overlooks the natural beauty of Double Haven.
Once off limits to non-residents, visitors are now able to enter the border town in New Territories with a permit and explore stunning landscapes, distinctive attractions, and flavorsome local cuisine.
Led by Walk In Hong Kong, our guided tour is about 2 hours and includes:
-Access to the newly opened border area in its second phase of opening.
-The best preserved Canton shophouses in Hong Kong on San Lau Street.
-Sneak peek of the once mysterious Chung Ying Street.
-Breathtaking coastal scenery of Double Haven and views from Shau Tau Kok Public Pier.
-Visits to cultural and historic locations like the former fire station, Hoklo Tin Hau Temple, and Che Ping Street.
