Asia Society Curator-led Tour of 'Never End: The Art and Life of Gaylord Chan' with Happy Hour

Please join us at the beautiful Asia Society for a special afternoon to kick off the Fall season of AWA Art Lovers activities with a private curator-led tour and happy hour at Ammo.

We will tour the newly opened retrospective of Gaylord Chan (1925-2020), a prominent Hong Kong artist who was a champion of contemporary art during its early days in HK. He developed a unique, youthful, and colorful mode of abstract painting that continued into digital art in his later years. Chan was also a beloved teacher, shaping the next generation of Hong Kong artists. The exhibition contains over 100 of his works.

We will also learn about the architecture of Asia Society on a brief tour and walk the rooftop garden (so bring some mosquito spray if you are sensitive). Happy hour at Ammo at shared expense (HH deal 2 for $120.)
