Mahjong is a popular Chinese game of four winds played with colourful tiles and interesting rules. In this course you will learn the classic version of mahjong known as Hong Kong Cantonese. Once you learn and play this version, you can play any other version and there are many out there.
You can also join the mahjong community here in AWA, play regularly and form lasting friendships and solidify your new found knowledge.
The instructor, Rehana Sheikh, is a mahjong enthusiast who has been playing mahjong for over twenty years and teaching for over ten years. Her enthusiasm is totally infectious…she will get you playing and enjoying the game as soon as you finish the course!
