China in a Day: Discover Guangzhou!

Embark on a convenient and comprehensive day trip from Hong Kong (West Kowloon MTR) to Guangzhou on a comfortable high-speed train which whisks you away to a world rich in history, culture and culinary delights.

Highlights include: the Qingping Medicine Market, the stunning Liwan Lakes area, the renowned architecture and intricate carvings of the Chen Academy Museum, and the famous Shamian Island with its beautifully preserved buildings reflecting both European and Chinese influences. Also included are an unexpected Catholic Cathedral and a remarkable banyan tree Bhuddist temple. Yes, there is a bit of walking involved!

Our guide will be the expert and accredited Stephanie Frossard from HK a la carte. The cost includes our guide, the round-trip second class train tickets, MTR travel within Guangzhou and access to the museum. Lunch is not included but Stephanie will direct and assist us.
