Chinese Ghost Festival and Sacrificial Opera Rituals
We will be visiting a Traditional Chinese Ghost Festival (Yulan) This includes watching Chinese Opera, participating in rituals and worship celebrations. Experience the passing of the "baby doll" prince, and the parade of actors. Paul's vast knowledge of Hong Kong Cultural Heritage is always an amazing afternoon. If there is time we may get to meet some of the actors and go behind the scenes!
We will meet at the Central MTR and travel to Kowloon where we will walk a short distance to the festival site. After the festival we will walk back to the station to take the train back to Central around 4:00.
