Communications Workshop with Youth from RUN
About this ActivityWe are looking for a Business Volunteer to lead a Communication Workshop for RUN's beneficiaries and help them with their communication skills and prepare them for their interviews. Through a 1.5hour soft skills training session to the youth, the Business Volunteer will help them practice their communication/ inter-personal skills and job interview skills, which will be very helpful for them to prepare for their resettlement in another country.About the Charity
RUN supports vulnerable refugees, particularly women, to build resilience and nurture self-reliance for a more hopeful future. With sport as the springboard and education as the foundation, we help refugees to create a life of safety and dignity, in Hong Kong and beyond.
Workshop Details:For this Communication workshop, the Business Volunteer will:- Interact with a team of refugees- predominantly female.- Help them speak confidently and communicate their ideas.- Provide tips on dealing in possibly stressful or hostile environment- Help prepare for job interviews- Beneficiaries: 15 appx.To Sign Up: Login to your AWA membership and then click the "Register" button on this page.
