Introduction to Chi Kung (Qigong)
Theresa Cheung Derrick, a long-time AWA member, has been practicing and teaching Chi Kung stretches for many years.
In this session, she will introduce Chi Kung (Qigong) including:
What is it?
How does it benefit the body and mind? and
How is it different from Tai Chi?
She will demonstrate one form of Chi Kung - an 8-part moving meditation routine after which she will teach a basic patting routine as well as some key movements for balance, meditation, breathing and overall wellness.
