Wake up in this bustling Kowloon neighborhood of Sham Shui Po known to many locals as a foodie enclave. Kicking off with two different breakfast stops, including hot out of the oven giant pineapple bun paired with delicious Hong Kong stocking milk tea, we savor authentic treats at six mom-and-pop eateries. Stuff your belly with some of the best freshly-made artisanal dumplings, a selection of handmade cookies from a legendary bakery that has been serving the community for 60 years, and finishing with lunch at one of Anthony Bourdain’s favorite noodle shops in Hong Kong. Between tastings, walk off the calories as we discover cultural remnants of Hong Kong’s past and experience today’s life in this working-class community, including a walk-through in a local wet market.
