Join our specially developed conversion class crafted for Taiwan-style players curious to explore the fast-paced, strategic world of Hong Kong-style mahjong.

Led by a patient and passionate teacher (Morlene Page) with over 20 years of experience (including the last 6 with AWA), this one-session workshop offers a welcoming and engaging environment to discover a new way to play. Whether you're looking to sharpen your scoring skills, join friends who already play HK style, or simply try something fresh, you'll walk away with a solid grasp of HK mahjong rules, scoring, and tactics. Hong Kong-style mahjong is beloved for its straightforward scoring system, making it easy to pick up and hard to put down. Expect clear explanations, hands-on practice, and plenty of “aha!” moments. If you already know the basics of another mahjong style (requirement for the workshop) and want to expand your repertoire, this is your chance to dive into something exciting with a supportive community and a teacher who truly loves the game.
