Mid-Autumn Festival is a time for family and friends to gather together and appreciate the full moon alongside delicious mooncakes paired with exceptional tea.
Pekoe&Petals is offering a unique Artisanal Tea Brewing with Mooncake Pairing Workshop. You'll learn about a variety of teas and gain hands-on experience brewing three different premium teas that are best enjoyed with mooncakes.
During this workshop, you will be learning about the six categories of tea, which ones are best paired with mooncakes, and rolling up your sleeves to brew three different teas with a gaiwan (Chinese tea vessel). Each tea brewed will be savored with a different kind of mooncake, including handmade traditional ones from Hong Kong's legendary Eight Angels Bakery and mooncake of other flavors, such as lava mooncake. This is a perfect afternoon tea experience shared amongst friends to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Each participant will also bring home some premium artisanal tea to enjoy.
