About Hong Kong Dolphinwatch

Hong Kong Dolphinwatch has been running trips to see the Chinese White Dolphins (Sousa chinensis) since 1995 with the aim of raising awareness about the pink dolphins in the wild in Hong Kong waters. The dolphins are threatened by the changes brought about by the rapid economic development in the Pearl River Delta region, and their future remains uncertain. We emphasise responsible ecotourism, and follow a code of conduct to minimise disturbance to the dolphins. Protect the sea, protect the environment, protect the world’s pinkest wild dolphins. 

About this Experience
We'll meet at Kowloon Hotel in TST and travel by coach bus to the Pier in Lantau. Then, we'll spend about 2-3 hours on the boat looking for our beloved pinkies. Afterwards, the bus will take you back to TST. Chinese White Dolphins are a resident species of Hong Kong and can be sighted year round, so there's no such thing as the best season because we have seen dolphins in all seasons and in all sorts of weather.
