English Reading with SBSH Primary Students
About this Activity
Saint Barnabas is looking to help their community children with their English language comprehension skills. They would like to invite volunteers to read to the primary school going kids from under-privileged families.
Expected children: 10-15 essentially from mainland Chinese families.
Level: Primary school going (6–12-year-old)
More info: In addition to sharing a story, Volunteers are welcome hold conversations, play game or sing songs with children.
About this Organization
Saint Barnabas Society and Home (SBSH), based in Shek Tong Tsui, provides a wide range of services to support the poor and homeless. Those in need can receive food, shelter, and counseling assistance. Their beneficiaries include children, families and the elderly.
