*Please note that we are currently looking for a leader for this group. If you are interested in learning more, please email [email protected]
Since its inception in September 2012, AWA Spiritual Literacy Group (SLG) has created a nurturing community of dynamic international and interfaith women who embrace the key principles of Unity in Diversity and Oneness.
Considered a spiritual spa day, SLG provides a sacred space to honor, celebrate and explore everyone’s distinct spiritual path, becoming soul-sisters in the process. We read and discuss books with spiritual themes, by celebrated authors including Abdu'l-Baha, Baha'u'llah, the Dalai Lama, Deepak Chopra, Thich Nhat Hanh, Eckhart Tolle, Viktor Frankl, Rev Desmond Tutu, and Paramahansa Yogananda, to name a few, and build a tool box of practical skills such as meditation, mindfulness, visualization, reframing and heart coherence which help us become our best selves. Membership currently consists of Baha’i, Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, and Jain.
SLG meets two mornings a month (generally the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month). To join and for more information contact the coordinator.
Members take turns hosting meetings.
