The AWA is partnering with the Nesbitt Centre for a story telling activity for the specially abled adults that the center supports.

We are looking for 2 volunteers to join this activity: 

  • Lead storyteller
  • Support volunteer 

 

In this session, volunteers will share either a storybook, storybook video or e-book and engage the learners through storytelling and asking questions. Popular story themes that the learners may enjoy include:

  • Superheroes
  • Stories related to culture of other countries
  • Animals
  • Music
  • Sports

 Staff at the center will be in the session to provide support.
