Taiwanese Mahjong Workshop: For Players Who Know Mahjong Basics

This fun and interactive 1-session workshop is for anyone who already knows how to play Mahjong, but would like to up their game by learning Taiwanese Mahjong. Transitioning from whatever Mahjong you’re presently playing to Taiwanese Mahjong is easy and enormously fun!  Our teacher, Sandra Collins-deLange, has played for many years and is happy to share with you the joy of playing this very local and cultural game. 

Taiwanese-style Mahjong is a game of skill, patience and strategy, as well as being a very social game of fun and comradeship. 

With the permission of the Ladies Recreation Club, we follow LRC's "House Rules for Taiwanese Mahjong”.  Aside from their excellent graphics and easy to follow rules and scoring, you’ll discover most other clubs in Hong Kong using the same LRC document.  When taking this course, you will receive your own 13 page and in full colour copy.
