Recording Studio Reading for the Blind
Volunteers are needed on a monthly basis - every two weeks - to be recorded reading news articles about recent events so that those who are visually impaired can understand what's going on in the world around them. Volunteers can save articles that are of interest to you / the community (~about two articles per day) throughout those two weeks. The articles are then read out loud at the HKSB recording studio in Kowloon at the end of this two-week period.
No media training or skills are required! Volunteers with clear voices are ideal.
Step 1: Register to read and the coordinator will send you more details.
Step 2: Pick a 2-week period (beginning on either the 1st or 15th of a month) and begin collecting news stories for that period.
Step 3: The coordinator will contact you to set a time to record your articles at the end of this two-week period.
