The Hong Kong Society for the Blind (HKSB) maintains an extensive audio library of audio tapes on a wide range of subjects relating to current affairs, literature, and educational materials. AWA volunteers contribute to the audio library by providing twice monthly recordings of news clippings from the South China Morning Post (SCMP).
Volunteers clip articles daily from the SCMP for a two-week period (~two articles per day) on topics of potential interest to the HKSB listeners. The articles are then read out loud at the HKSB recording studio in Kowloon at the end of this two-week period.
No skills are required, however, volunteers with clear voices are ideal.
