This fall, join us for our AWA curated Modern Taipei, a long-weekend adventure to experience this modern capital metropolis beyond the historical temples and museums. Taiwan is a tiny island with multi-cultural influences that has so much to offer with beautiful hot springs, lush countryside, incredible food and night markets plus a vibrant contemporary art scene. Best of all it’s a mere one hour flight away from HK making it ideal for us to see Taipei from the inside out.

Our trip’s focus will be immersion into Taipei’s thriving cultural art scene and upbeat lifestyle with a touch of countryside exploration. We will enjoy a fabulous 3 nights at the Eslite Hotel, which boasts a famous bookstore and is set within the Songshan Cultural & Creative Park.  And of course Taipei’s dynamic food scene will also be a major key point we can’t miss!  From beef noodles & Taiwanese hotpot to the special Michelin starred dinner at Sung Chu Yan, we will hit the highlights.

To complement our time visiting hotspots in the city, we will also venture forth for a range of activities including a hike along the Qixing Mountain Trail, a relaxing visit to the Beitou Thermal Valley pools, a participative Taiwanese cooking class, local shopping, and a morning riverside bike trip.

If you’ve never made that short trip to Taiwan because it's so close you think you’ll make it there soon, wait no longer and join us in September for Modern Taipei!
