Join us to hear from Jeff Andrews and Uzma Naveed from the Centre for Refugees about the situation for refugees in Hong Kong. Jeff is one of HK's first non-Chinese registered social workers and the recipient of many awards for his contributions to Hong Kong. Uzma, originally from Pakistan, fled to Hong Kong with her family following religious persecution and has experienced the hardships of being a refugee. Uzma gave the most powerful talk at the 2025 TEDx TinHau event to a standing ovation.
