Come explore the mysterious and alluring country of Tibet with us. The country is known as the Roof of the World with its average elevation of 4,000 meters/13,000 feet. This tantalizing place is embraced by the towering Himalaya mountains, lofty landscapes and heavenly lakes creating a breathtaking and spiritual panorama.
This special AWA curated trip will have travelers experiencing the essence of Tibet by exploring the historical sacred sites including Portola Palace, Jokhang Temple, and the Tsurphu Monastery along with the famous pilgrimage circuit and bustling bazaar of Bakhur Street. In order to not miss the cultural and natural beauty of the country; however, opportunities will abound for hiking the great holy Yamdrok Yumtso Lake; enjoying a home cooked dinner with a local Tibetan family in an ancient village; rafting down the Tsurphu River; and enjoying meditation one evening lakeside.
Accommodations for this fabulous Tibet trip are traditional yet modern and luxurious to best reflect on the day's experience. This is a well balanced trip of cultural, physical, culinary and mental experiences; therefore, it is best experienced with some level of physical and mental fitness for all travelers.

Price is subject to adjustment if minimum numbers are not met. There is a non-refundable HK $1,100 charge if you have been accepted on the tour and cancel for any reason. The air fare is non-refundable and the balance of your deposit is non-refundable as of May 10, 2024 unless the space can be filled from the Waiting List.
