SBSH English Practice for Primary Students
About this Opportunity
Saint Barnabas' Society and Home (SBSH) is looking to help their community's children with their English language comprehension skills. They would like to invite volunteers to read to primary-aged students from under-privileged families. In addition to sharing a story, volunteers are welcome to hold conversations, play games, or sing songs with children. This is a KID-FRIENDLY ACTIVITY. SBSH encourages volunteers to bring their own kids to this activity and share smiles with the other children.
Expected children: around 10-15 students from mainland Chinese families
Level: Primary school-going (6–12 years old)
Number of Volunteers Needed: 1-2
Contact: Should you have any questions on the day of the activity, please kindly contact SBSH's Abby Chan at 9551 8045.
