The Amber Foundation - Volunteer Opportunity: Toiletry Sorting & Assembly
The Amber Foundation: Is a charity that supports marginalized communities in Hong Kong through different Projects. One of the flagship projects is The Toiletries Project under which the Charity collects airline kits and hotel toiletries which are distributed to women in shelters, domestic workers, the homeless, the elderly, refugees and more.
They are now recruiting volunteers to assist with Sorting and Assembling of donated Toiletries:
- The AWA volunteers will unpack and sort donated kits, toiletries, and other miscellaneous items into designated containers for kit assembly.
- Assemble Hygiene Kits – Pack essential items into individual kits based on availability and need. Items included in each kit will be subject to donation availability, and volunteers should thoughtfully distribute products to ensure fairness and practicality.
Additional Notes:
Pls wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes.
- Water and hand sanitizer will be provided
- Fridge, microwave, and kettle available
- No prior experience is needed - just a willingness to help
