Understanding how and why the modern city of Hong Kong is how it is. The various components of HK's urban evolution will be explored in this extensively illustrated lecture. See how all of Hong Kong's various elements fit together in a meaningful picture. You will not be dissapointed. Time for Q and A will be provided.

Jason is a local who has worked in Hong Kong teaching and writing about the history of Hong Kong for many years. If you have not heard one of his talks or gone on a walk you are in for a treat. Or if you have come back and learn more. We will be offering a series of 4 talks this summer is the air conditioned AWA office. Each week he will be covering a different topic. You can join all or come as you are available. Each is a stand alone and is always fascinating.
