In this talk, Jason will discuss the role played by the opium trade in the establishment of the British Colony, its economic importance in the 19 th century, moves towards prohibition and the parallels that exist today with the tobacco industry. This talk does form a part of the series of the interconnected two other upcoming topics, (sex trade and triads, but is a stand alone).You will not be disappointed. Time for Q and A will be provided.
